 As some of you guys already know, I recently accepted a Marketing position with Payless and moved to Lawrence, Kansas! Yep, you heard right, I'm living in Kansas! Needless to say, the past few weeks has been pretty crazy, with apartment hunting, moving and trying to decorate my new sweet pad! However, I am super excited for this opportunity and journey with Payless! 

On another note, does anyone watch the Bachelor?! I know it's a super dramatic show but it's such a great guilty pleasure show to watch! Me and a group of my girlfriends love the show, and this year we each created a bracket for who we think is going to win! So far I am a huge fan of Ben - hopefully he doesn't turn into a "Pablo" later on! Would love to hear your thoughts!

It snowed here so it finally looks like a winter wonderland where I live! It's the perfect excuse to sit by the fire, cuddle up and drink hot cocoa, right? Because that's what I plan on doing today!

Hannah and I love working with fun boutiques especially when all of the clothes are superrrrrr adorable and affordable! We have worked with Southern Roots in the past and the girls there are just too darn fun! I picked this Boho long sleeve blouse since I am trying to branch out from my normal style and I must say - I love this oversized "hipster" look! I paired it with some distressed jeans (love love these jeans - a must have!!) and a hat to make it extra chic!

It is freeeezing today so I'm cuddled up, drinking coffee and watching Netflix with my dog! The perfect lazy Sunday :) Last weekend it was just as cold while Amy and I were out & about shopping and shooting pictures! So, summer you could say I'm ready for ya. 

Anyways, this outfit is one of my day to night go-to's! It's great for a day of shopping and running errands, but also works for a wine night with girlfriends! I got these over-the-knee boots last year and am still just obsessed with them again this winter! And if I can make it all day and night in a pair of heels, you know it's real! I'm all about pops of color during the winter time! But I've worn so many neutral colored outfits this winter, I thought it would be fun to bring back some color into my wardrobe! I paired this sweater with a scarf since it has been fruh-eezing around here - I literally threw on my jacket right after this photoshoot! It was soooooo cold!

P.S. I just bought this Midnight Recovery Concentrate and am obsessed with it!! My skin has been super super dry lately and this little serum is such a miracle worker! Definitely worth a try if your skin is super dry from the winter wind!

Hope you all are enjoying the new year! To start the year off I decided to try not only faux leather pants, but colored faux leather pants! Haha really crazy, right? But it turns out these pants are actually really comfy and perfect for dressing up an outfit for a winter night out! They make a statement being plum colored, but are still subtle! I've worn them with a grey top and cream sweater, as well! I also am in love with this flowy black top! Definitely a must-have staple in my closet! And the tie in the front adds a nice feminine touch! Plus, it's on sale for 40% off!  Lastly, I'm obsessed with this faux fur bag for any fun winter parties or going out! It "winterizes" every look and I always get so many compliments on it! Definitely another must have so I've linked several similar styles below!
