Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I've done a blog post because I've been so insanely busy with grad school, but I wanted to post an update on my (boyfriend's) new puppy! My boyfriend, Nick moved to South Carolina at the end of April and we got our puppy, Archie that same weekend! He's a golden retriever and we're so obsessed with him. I mean, is he not the cutest thing you've ever seen?! I swear he doubles in size each day so I wanted to include him in some blog pictures since he'll probably be full grown by next week ;). He's a really sweet, little ball of energy and we're loving every second with him - even when he wakes us up at 3 AM or chews on our shoes haha. He loves to be outside, meet new friends, and take baths. So much so, that he tries to jump in the shower with Nick every morning! Anyways, I'm sure he'll be in lots more blog posts to come since I've become a crazy dog mom now and like to take him everywhere with us!

Also, this jumpsuit is perfect for summer- it's lightweight and SO comfy! It would even work for a coverup at the beach or pool! I love that you can dress it up with wedges and that it's off the shoulder, but it's also casual enough to wear with flip flops while running errands. It's definitely a staple for summer!

Now that summer is almost here, I am constantly on the lookout for shampoos to keep my hair fresh and frizz-free. If you have been following along, you probably already know how much we love Baublebar! We were drawn to their gorgeous jewelry immediately after their big brand launch a few years back. The Weekend Look

The weather has been beautiful here in Kansas, so without a doubt a lot of time were spent outside, bruchin’ with friends! Today I wanted to share a laid back look from last weekend. This sweater (only $35) is one of my favorite basics and I love that it’s long enough to be worn with leggings, boyfriend jeans, or white skinny jeans like I styled here. I’ve always been drawn to neutral colors during the spring season and I love how the blue sweater / white pants combo creates that feel. I love paring it with my leopard heels and cross-body bag.

Happy Monday!

Hope you all are having a great week so far! So Amy has always been a big fan of oversized sweaters forever but I could never get into the style because I always thought it looked like I was prego...but it never looks like that on her! But lately, I've been loving Amy's signature style haha. This sweater isn't super oversized but just the right amount! It's so cozy and more flattering on me due to the high-low style of it. It's shorter in the front and longer in the back so it doesn't look like I'm swimming in my sweater. I may or may not have worn this sweater 4 out of 7 days this week...the obsession is real haha. Happy Monday, everyone!
Now that the temps are warming up, dresses are making an appearance on a regular basis around here. When the weather is nice you have to take full advantage - I have been outside or dining on the patio every chance I get. This dress from Francesca's was the perfect choice for a little after work dinner on the patio. I loved wearing it for a casual occasion, but could easily see it being worn to a dressier event. This dress is super comfortable, and I love the ruffle details.
