Chinese New Year Look

SKIRT: WhoWhatWear // TOP: Nordstrom (similar & similar) // HEELS: Jessica Simpson // EARRINGS: BaubleBar // WATCH: Fossil // BRACELET: BP. // BAG: Gucci (similar)

Happy Monday and Happy Chinese New Year! In my book, this is the most exciting time of the year! There's just something special about celebrating that part of my culture/tradition and spending quality time with the family. And who doesn't love to receive lots of Hong Bao? Quick learning time: Hong Bao - Red Envelope is a monetary gift (money!!) which is given during the holidays or special occasions by family members or friends. My family host a Chinese New Year party every year, where my parents literally invite all of the Asians in my town....not even being dramatic! haha...Though, the party is a week away but I have already started searching for a festive look to wear that evening.

I have always been a "red" person - mainly because I'm super asian and super superstitious and will forever believe that the color red will bring me all the luck in the world! haha....and I think red goes great with my skin tone. I paired this red blouse with this black + gold polka dotted skirt and black heels to compete the look. I kept the look festive but casual, considering that I will be helping my mom with a lot of the prepping and cleaning.

Thanks for stopping by! and Cheers to the year to Chicken!

Mexico: Mink Pink Coverup

COVER UP: MinkPink // BIKINI: Victoria's Secret- old (similar top) (similar bottom) // SANDALS: old - (similar) // EARRINGS: Baublebar // BRACELETS: Evereve, Baublebar // SUNGLASSES: RayBan // BEACH BAG: Nordstrom // FEDORA HAT: Zappos

Hola!
Amy and I had the opportunity to go to Cancun in late November/ early December and we had the time of our lives! It was seriously such a fun getaway to perfect warm weather and before the holiday season started to get crazy busy! We stayed at Dreams Riviera Cancun, which made our vacay absolutely amazing! We were there for 4 nights/ 5 days and spent as much time as we could by the pool and beach. It's an all-inclusive resort, meaning we both got our money's worth alone at the (swim up to) pool bar and pool restaurant where we ate the best guac and chips all day everyday! Seriously, the workers knew us by name because we were such frequent visitors haha. They also had a fun bar on the beach, so you could go swim in the ocean, play beach volleyball, layout and also have a bar conveniently right by you! Talk about living the dream!

I found this coverup from MinkPink and it was great for wearing every day! It's such a fun print and so lightweight- perfect for strolling the beach or sitting poolside in one of the many cabanas! Also, how fun is this mini beach bag tote?! Amy and I got matching ones (hers was blue!). They're small, but still fit all the essentials we needed to carry around! And can we talk about these fun earrings from Baublebar?! I usually don't go for the giant, dangling earrings because they typically hurt my ears but these aren't heavy at all! They were such a cute statement piece to have for the whole vacation and they also come in a few other colors!

Thanks for stopping by! xoxo

Mexico: White Lace Dress

DRESS: Revolve - also love this! // SHOES: Nina (similar) // BAG: Zara (similar & similar) // GLASSES: Nordstrom // EARRINGS: Baublebar // BRACELETS: 1 //

Hola again from Seaside! When I think of beaches, lace and white are two things that come to mind. When I saw this Drop Waist Lace Dress, I knew it would be perfect for my trip to Cancun! and I have to say, this is definitely one of my favorite outfits that I wore. I like that the fabric is cotton so you can really dress it up or down depending on the occasion. I also love flowy fit and and of course, the gorgeous lace detailing.

One of my favorite things that we have done in Cancun is definitely *cue super cheesy voice* walking on the beach while watching the sun go down! Super basic but nothing can beat a long walk on the beach with your best friend...especially with wine. ;)

This dress would also be perfect for the spring/summer time! You can dress it up with heels for a date night or down with lace up flat sandals for brunch with the girls.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

Love You A Brunch

GRAPHIC SWEATSHIRT: Nordstrom // LEGGINGS: Zella // EARRINGS: Nordstrom

Happy Sunday!
One of the best parts about staying at Dreams Riviera Cancun was the all-inclusive food and drinks! Waking up every morning and being able to call room service and order whatever our hungry little hearts desired was amazing! They would bring it right to our room so we could eat breakfast and drink our coffee while getting ready for the day! The resort's service was seriously phenomenal! Every employee was so nice and accommodating!

Also, how cute is this sweatshirt top?! It says "Love you a brunch". Brunch is one of my favorite reasons to get out of bed on the weekends, so when I found this I knew I had to have it! Plus, graphic sweatshirts and tees are the perfect loungewear. I've lived in this sweatshirt every weekend since I got it! It also has matching sweatpants that look really comfy too! AND it's currently 40% off!!

Mexico: Sparkly Romper

ROMPER: similar & similar & similar // HEELS: Nina (similar & similar)  // CLUTCH: Tory Burch // EARRINGS: Baublebar

Happy Friday, friends! Nothing makes me more ready for a great night out quite like this party romper! I usually tends to shy away from anything that has an open back, but this romper was too good to pass up. Aside from the obvious metallic statement here, I have to say the color is spot on! I wore this look to one of the ocean view bars in our resort and loved the "attention" that I got. aka awkward stares cuz I looked dramatic AF....all the bars where super chill...hahha... anyways, I ended up putting my hair up instead of down. I loved the messy ponytail look with this romper.

One of my close friend got engaged back in November and she's planning on having her bachelorette party in Vegas..I bet I won't get any weird stares when I wear it there! ;)

I bought this romper last summer, but I've found a few similar rompers below! Have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks for stopping by!
