Happy Tuesday!

One of the best memories we had at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort was when we "crashed" a wedding! There was a huge beach wedding followed by a dance reception by the pool area and we just happened to walk by it and some of the wedding guests invited us to join! All the guests we met (including the father of the bride!) we're all so nice to us. We drank champagne, danced like we were in college again, and ate some amazing wedding cake!  It was a blast! Plus, now we can check off "crashing a wedding" from our bucket lists ;) 

Anyways, this peach top was my favorite that I brought on the trip! I love the flower detailing, flowy sleeves, and it's off-the-shoulder which is my go-to style! It's another one from Vava by Joy Han - it comes in a dress version here, which is equally as cute! I think it's another perfect option for a spring break trip! I'm also so obsessed with these cute sunglasses- they're only $12!

Holaaaa! Nothing beats the combination of a gorgeous maxi dress plus a pair of wedges while you are on a tropical vaca! I hard a time deciding whether I wanted this maxi dress (how amazing is the pattern and cut? its so cute) or the one I have on. But I'm soooo glad that I picked the one that I have on! This maxi dress (on sale!) is even more gorgeous in person and it is sooooo body flattering! It actually makes me look like I have a booty..hahah...The color of this dress is perfect for the beach, especially when you get a little bit of that sun kiss glow! I also love the front slit of this dress - I think it adds the perfect amount of sexy-ness....and you all know how much I love to show a little leg. ;) haha.....i'm already planning on wearing this dress again to one of my friends wedding this summer. 

Anyways, I just wanted to talk about how much Hannah and I LOVED our time at Dreams Riveiera Cancun, because we loved it. Like love love loved it! The service was amazing, but the food?! Oh my goodness you guys, the food was SO GOOD! I'm a huge foodie and I seriously was so impressed with the quality (most of the meat and veggies are organic) and how delicious they all were. I'm drooling just thinking about the lamb and salmon I had.....

Happy Friday!

Amy and I have both been really busy lately with all aspects of our lives, so getting to come to Cancun and relax for a few days in 85 degree weather was just what we needed! I don't think I've sat down and read a fictional book in almost 2 years, so to have the chance to finally do that was great! I read "The Good Girl" and "Luckiest Girl Alive" - both of which I'd recommend! We also had limited cell service throughout most of the resort, which was extremely relaxing to be able to disconnect for a majority of our time there!

When Amy and I were planning our trip to Mexico, I knew I wanted to find some cute outfits that fit with the beachy, tropical, vacay vibe! Vava by Joy Han has so many cute options, especially if you're going to Mexico! I chose this dress because it's such a fun color and I love the detailing of it! Plus it's off the shoulder, which is my absolute fave! If you're planning a spring break trip to somewhere warm, then this dress is perfect for you! It never got cold in Mexico (even at night) but it's a nice option to have in case it does! I also carried this cute bag around all summer (it's double-sided) and it was perfect (to pack & wear) with each of my outfits.

Happy Monday friends! I continued my new years celebration yesterday with some of my closest friends (brunch all day everyday!) and today I will be celebrating the new year with my family! I got my parents their favorite green tea cake from Lady M while I was in New York and I can't wait to eat it tonight...because lets be real...I like cake more then anyone in my family! haha

Anyways, I seriously wear these jeans all the time! I love the way they fit and how casual it is. These jeans goes with literally everything - sweaters, tees, blouses, etc. I paired it with this purple sweater (on sale!) and booties for a casual look!

Casual Fun NYE Look

Hello 2017!! Hope everyone had a wonderful NYE! I flew to New York last minute with my cousin and celebrated the end of 2016 with lots of champaign and cake! I actually wore this exact outfit (minus the heels) to the airport! hahah....I got a lot of weird stares, but hey, its NYE, I can't go around without a little sparkle! 

2016 has been a crazy year! I traveled to multiple states, saw one of my best friend graduate from 6 year med school and got to witness Hannah fall in love with Nick and got accepted to multiple PA schools woohoo! I got a new job in a field that was completely different from my Food Science degree, and my personality changed from a ENTJ - "the commander" to a ESTP - "the entrepreneur" (haha i'm a major dweeb and love to take these type of personality tests), but mostly importantly I learned to take every moment with the purest form of gratitude and never pass up an opportunity to show my appreciation for everyone and everything! 

Oh also, Hannah and I got the opportunity to travel out of state together as bloggers. Even though this does not seem like a big deal to a lot of people, but I'm beyond proud of us for making this little hobby of ours into something more then just a hobby. Before I get too cheesy, I sincerely want to thank you all sooooo much for all of your support and encouragement throughout the year(s)! Simply Duo Style would not be as successful or fun without you all! You guys are awesome and we can't wait to share all our adventures with you all in 2017! We have a feeling it's going to be good one! :)
